Gear Shop
The Gear Shop is George's stand in Grow A Garden 2, selling the functional equipment that sets gears apart from purely cosmetic props. Players use it to buy gardening tools, temporary buffs, and defensive or utility items with Sheckles or Robux, drawn from a stock that rotates over time.
Overview
Gears fall into a few broad groups: watering cans, sprinklers, and tools like the Trowel that directly improve gardening; consumable Mushroom items that temporarily alter the player's speed, jump height, or size; and gadgets such as the Flashbang or Teleporter used to defend a plot or throw off other players.
Obtainment
George sells gears from his stand at the center of the map, priced in Sheckles or Robux, with the available selection rotating on a timer. The Sign, Lantern, and Wheelbarrow are exceptions, remaining purchasable at all times as one-time buys rather than cycling through the rotation.
Usage
Gardening gears such as the Common Watering Can and Super Sprinkler speed up crop growth, with higher tiers giving a stronger boost, the Super Watering Can can multiply growth speed by up to 300 times for a limited stretch. Mushroom gears like the Speed, Jump, and Invisibility Mushrooms grant the player short-term effects, while items such as the Gnome, Flashbang, and Teleporter help guard a garden, interact with other players, or cover ground quickly. Equippable gears including the Sign, Lantern, and Wheelbarrow are held or placed rather than used up.
Restocking
Stock is never fixed: each restock gives every gear its own independent odds of appearing, along with a quantity range that caps how many can be bought before it runs out. The Sign, Lantern, and Wheelbarrow sit outside this system entirely and stay in stock permanently, and the same goes for premium gears purchased with Robux.
Trivia
Like the Seed Shop, the Gear Shop is a feature carried over from the original Grow a Garden.
