Grow A Garden 2 guide

Stealing

Stealing lets Grow A Garden 2 players slip into someone else's garden at night and walk off with their fruit without spending any Robux, a sharp break from the original Grow a Garden, where taking crops cost Robux or Tokens. It's one of the game's signature features and the centerpiece of the night-time loop.

Overview

Once night falls, a player chooses to steal or protect: staying in your own garden locks it against thieves, while slipping into an unattended garden lets you take any crop from it, though Bamboo and Mushrooms take 3 seconds to steal. Gears, plants, and other builds can add extra protection, and some nights swap the steal objective for a different event that hands out seeds with special mutations instead.

Trivia

Stealing costs nothing here, unlike the original Grow a Garden, which charged 37 Robux or 37 Tokens per steal. A stolen crop only counts once it's physically carried back to the thief's own garden, teleport buttons stay locked mid-steal to stop instant escapes, and an unlocked icon over a garden shows it's currently stealable. The game also appears to run movement anti-cheat to keep exploiters from steamrolling the mechanic.
